Amnesty International has launched a campaign on freedom of speech and expression online to tie-in with the IGF this morning. It has released a statement [pdf] on Internet Governance, as well as a precise appeal for an Iranian blogger to be freed.
The campaign appears to have picked up alot of press attention, in particular with the UK’s Independent, which has devoted its front page to the issue. The campaign is part of Amnesty’s “Irrepressible” campaign.
